Buy a ticket, support Graduate
Studies scholarship
For
the third year, the MUSC College of Graduate Studies is sponsoring a
drawing for a chance at the ultimate coconut cake, courtesy of
Peninsula Grill. The proceeds of this drawing will go toward
recruitment scholarships for the College of Graduate Studies.
This cake as been called, “A little slice of heaven...” by the New York
Times and described as “light as a cloud” by Bon Appetit. It has even
been featured on the Food Channel. The cake is 4 inches tall and 10
inches in diameter, weighs approximately 12 pounds and can be frozen up
to four months. The retail value of this cake is $100. Tickets are
available in the Graduate Studies Office, Room 102, Basic Science
Building and are also being sold by CGS students.
Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. The drawing will be held Dec. 16.
