Buy a button, support Easter Seals of
S.C.
The Buck-A-Cup to Brace-A-Child fund-raiser to benefit Easter Seals of
South Carolina will be held through Friday, April 14.
Buck-A-Cup buttons may be purchased from any MUSC Public Safety officer
for a $1 donation. Also the officers will be on the Horseshoe from
10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 5, and April 12. There will also be cups and
bracelets available for purchase.
On coffee day, April 14, buttons may be presented at any participating
South Carolina Restaurant Association member restaurant to receive a
free cup of coffee. Buttons may also be presented at To Your Health,
the new restaurant at the Harper Student Center, and at the MUSC
Cafeteria and the Rutledge Tower Cafe.
Easter Seals of South Carolina has been providing services to people
with disabilities since 1934. Last year, the organization supported
more than 13,000 children and adults with disabilities in the
community. Services offered by the Easter Seals include occupational,
physical, and speech therapy, purchase of medial supplies and medical
equipment loans. The event is sponsored by the South Carolina
Restaurant Association and South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers'
Association.
