MUSC Presidential Scholars announced for 2006-07 The Presidential Scholars Program brings together selected students from the university's six colleges to explore the complex social, political, and human issues that shape the delivery of health care services in South Carolina and the nation.   During this yearlong, extracurricular program the scholars address issues that transcend their own discipline and professional boundaries. In doing so they learn more about the contributions that each discipline makes to health care and the value of teamwork.   Through discussion, debate, and interaction with community leaders, legislators and faculty, these outstanding students develop new perspectives on important health care issues and learn how they, working together as health care professionals, can become leaders of health care change.   The following MUSC students were selected as 2006-07 Presidential Scholars: Luke Benko, Robyn Brewer, Teresa Burks, Brooke Chase, Emily Devine, Brie Dunn, Andre Eaddy, Allison Evans, Patricia Fisher, Preston Fitzgerald, Amber Gist, Kara Grasso, Jason Guichard, Rashim Gupton, Page Gupton, Sarra Hedden, Christanne Hoffman, James Howell, Jina Kang, Matthew Kappus, Jejo Koola, Genevieve Luehrs, Ashley Mason, Laura Mills, Alicia Nielson, Paul Packard, Anne-Marie Pages, David Perry, Dana Pompey, Alicia Porter, Whitney Raper, Eddie Rodgers, Jim Ryan, Alison Sanders, O'Stacia Schaffer, Clarice Seifert, Olando Singletary, Teresa Stanley, Christopher Swearingen, Benjamin Thomas, Jessica Tillman, Anna Vukin, Christine Walters, Emily Wheeler, and Michael Wong.     Friday, April 14, 2006 Catalyst Online is published weekly, updated as needed and improved from time to time by the MUSC Office of Public Relations for the faculty, employees and students of the Medical University of South Carolina.
