How
long at MUSC: From 1989 to
1995 and came back in 2002.
How did you become involved in
volunteering: I had a strong desire to improve the lives of
children in our community.
What is the most rewarding thing about
your job: It sounds corny, but being able to work with
incredible people who really care about what they do and the patients
and families. It’s very motivating to belong to a community that looks
past our many differences to serve others, no matter who they are or
where they come from.
Pets: Brownie the dog, and Abby
the cat.
Favorite TV show: American Idol.
Favorite room in your house: The
screened porch.
Favorite type of music: I like
it all—top 40, country, gospel, classical and R&B.
Item you must have in your refrigerator:
French creamer for my coffee.
Your favorite place: The beach.
Pet peeve: Tardiness.
How do you spend your free time:
Keeping up with my husband and three children.
What was your favorite trip:
Whitewater rafting down the Kennebec River in Maine.
Something people don’t know about you:
I play the flute.
