room—peaceful, uncluttered and quiet.
Least favorite chore: Ironing.

your purse: My identification.
Most special place in the world: San
Antonio, Texas, where I met my husband.
Fondest childhood memory:
Climbing trees (you’re on top of the world then) and going to my aunt’s
house in Olanta.
Bad habit: Interrupting my
husband all the time, or so he says.
Pet peeve: People who pretend to
be a friend, but are not, and people who do not know what
the truth is.
Biggest challenge: Keeping
weight off and trying to lose the other few pounds.
First job: Working in tobacco
and cotton fields/barns.
Most rewarding thing about your job:
The interaction with people all over campus.
Favorite quote: My mother would
always say this when I would get down, “There is a time for everything:
time to laugh; a time to cry; a time to live, and a time to die. There
is a season for everything.”
