staff and faculty are so personal and courteous.
Hometown: My family is from
West Coast Demerare, Guyana.
What languages do you speak:
Only English. Guyana is the only English-speaking country in South
America.
Favorite local places to eat:
Southend Brewery and Miyabi.
What did you want to be when you were a
child: An astronaut. Stars were fascinating to me for a long as
I can remember.
Three things that best describes you:
Open-minded, but enigmatic and ability to stay calm in chaotic
situations.
Something people don't
know about you: I am of British nationality, ethnically Indian, but I
grew up in the Caribbean.
Ingredients you must have in your
refrigerator: Eggs, milk and a lot of fruit.
Something you collect: Pennies
and Care Bears.
Accomplishment of which you are most
proud: Becoming a member of such a great lab.
Favorite childhood memory: Going
to the beach almost every weekend when we lived in the Virgin Islands,
coming home, taking a bath and eating warm custard my mother made.
