Meet...Kevin
Name: Kevin Smuniewski.
Department: Student Programs.
How long at MUSC: 9 months.
Least favorite chore: Clean-up duty when my dogs have an
upset stomach at 4 a.m.
Community service: I help out
with many of the service projects put on by MUSC Gives Back and MUSC
Student Government Association. Prior to working at MUSC, I
volunteered as a golf instructor for various organizations in Clemson
and the surrounding Upstate communities.
Local restaurant you would recommend: The
Boathouse on East Bay. It has great seafood and sushi.
First job: Golf-cart attendant
at Shadowmoss Golf Club when I was 15.
If you could trade places with someone
for a day, whom would it be: Tiger Woods in contention on
Sunday at the Masters.
Most rewarding thing about your job at
MUSC: Knowing that I help provide students with outlets from
their high-stress schedules to relax and/or enjoy themselves.
Three words that best describe you:
Conscientious, multi-talented and fun.
Something people don’t know about you: One
of my goals in life is to hike the entire Appalachian Trail.
Historical event you would have liked
to witness: The beginning of time. I’m tired of all the theories.
Favorite quote: “Some people
are born on third base and go through life thinking they hit a triple.”
