Results of faculty senate elections announcedby Joan Cunningham, Ph.D., and Walter Limehouse, M.D.Elections are complete, and the next academic year of senate activities is scheduled. The first faculty senate meeting of the new fiscal year will take place at 7:45 a.m. Oct. 14 in Room 125, Gazes Auditorium. In addition to elected senators, all alternates plus interested faculty are invited to attend all senate meetings. Some colleges still have vacant senator or alternate positions: College of Dental Medicine (one senator and two alternates), College of Medicine—Basic Sciences (one senator and two alternates), and College of Medicine—Clinical Sciences (14 alternates). Eligible faculty in these colleges are encouraged to fill these positions. Submit names of nominees (confirm first their willingness to participate) to one of the senators in the college.
