Meet...Michele

Name: Michele Chamberlain, R.N.

Department: Pre-Op at Ashley River Tower.

How long at MUSC: 18 years. I came to MUSC as a traveling nurse all those years ago.

Hometown: Bowling Green, Ohio.

What did you want to be when you were a child: I have always wanted to be a nurse. What was I thinking?

Three words that best describe you: Funny, vivacious and outgoing.

Other cities you have lived in: Toledo, Ohio; and Los Angeles.

Hobbies: Reading, movies, hanging out with friends, and travel.

First thing I notice about people: Their teeth and smile.

Memorable trips: I travel quite a bit with cruises, trips to Mexico, and flying to Ohio every three months to visit my niece and nephew.

Item you must have in the refrigerator: Diet Coke.

Most rewarding thing about your job: I work with the greatest group of colleagues.

Accomplishment of which you are most proud: I am a good friend to many people and a terrific aunt.

I would like to ...: become more fluent in Spanish.
