Family: Two brothers, two sisters, nieces and nephews, and soon-to-be husband, John.

Favorite childhood memory: Dyeing Easter eggs with my grandmother.

Three words that best describe you: Spiritual, compassionate and playful.
 
Most fulfilling aspect of your  job: Being a companion during any patient’s struggles and joys.

Ingredients you must have in your refrigerator: Diet Pepsi and Heinz 57 sauce.

Something your parents always told you: Drive carefully and don’t stay out late.

Toughest challenge you faced in 2007: My momma’s illness, and ultimately her death in December.

Something that makes you smile: Ice cream, children giggling and puppies.

How did you meet your fiancé: We met online in 2005 and began dating. We became engaged on Thanksgiving 2007.

Something people don’t know about you: I make grief baskets customized to an individual’s specific loss.
