Preschool program accepting students
The MUSC Child Development Preschool Program, managed by TodayCare
Children’s Centers, provides a developmentally appropriate preschool
program for children ages 3, 4 and 5.
“Faithful to MUSC’s service tradition, the MUSC Child Development
Preschool program is committed to providing a safe and secure
environment that is marked by excellence,” said Kim Hovren, MUSC Child
Development Preschool Program director. “We recognize the unique
educational and developmental needs of children and are devoted to
delivering a quality program that is rich in open communications,
fosters lasting relationships and provides educational stimulations.”
The program will provide educated and trained teaching staff and will
be accredited by the National Association of Education for Young
Children.
The preschool is open to staff and students of MUSC, MUHA, and
UMA. Parents may access

preschool\ to enroll a child online. Tuition is $140 per week.
Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tours of the
facility are available from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 3 to 5 p.m.
Stop by the Health 1st Wellness Wednesday table in the Children’s
Hospital lobby from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 20 to ask questions or get
more information.
