CPC announces MUSC events
The Cultural
Projects Council has been bringing arts and cultural diversity to MUSC
since its inception in 1984. It’s mission, which is to promote the
development of a well-rounded university student and enrich the lives
of MUSC faculty staff and alumni, is fulfilled each year with events
such as these offered this spring.
MUSC Night at the Charleston
Ballet Theatre
7:30 p.m., Feb. 8, Charleston
Ballet Theatre, 477 King St.
Featuring Best of Broadway followed by a reception with the dancers.
Cost is $5 for students (two per ID); $10 for employees (two per ID).
Tickets are on sale in the Office of Student Programs.
Concert at St. Luke’s
8 p.m., Feb. 29, St. Luke’s
Chapel
Featuring a performance by The Company Company, “MUSC Good Times
Variety Hour.” A free dessert reception by Saffron will follow the show.

Art/Photo Exhibit
Artwork submissions: March 3- 21
Artwork displayed: April 1- 30.
Are you secretly hiding your artistic talents? Let them shine for all
of MUSC to see. Drop off one to two entries to the Office of Student
Programs located in the Harper Student Center, SW 213. All forms of
artwork are welcome. Artwork to be hung on the wall must be prepared
with adequate hardware and will be displayed in the Harper Student
Center Courtenay Gallery.
Concert at St. Luke's
7:30 p.m., March 28, Basic
Science Building Auditorium
Featuring De Gullah Conneckshun, a histo-musical presentation of the
origins, history and culture of the Gullah/Geechee people presented by
Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah Sovereign Nation and a troupe from
St. Helena Island. A dessert reception will follow. The event is free.
