How long at MUSC: Since 1995
and I received my Ph.D. in 2002.
Where were you born: Hann Air
Force Base, Germany.
Why did you move to Charleston: Graduate
school.
What did you want to be when you were
young: Architect. I changed my mind, because it was a five-year
degree and I didn’t want to be in training that long.
What is the most rewarding
aspect of your job: Making a difference.
Do you have any pets: Three
dogs—Mona, Metto and Dapple.
Favorite TV show: Virginia Tech
football games.
Favorite room in your house:
Kitchen.
Item you must have in your
refrigerator: Coke Zero.
Person you admire the most: My
father.
Your idea of a perfect vacation: Beach,
golf, food and wine.
