What is the most rewarding aspect of your job: Caring for the patients; helping underprivileged patients pay for their medications and finding places for them to stay during overnight visits.

What did you want to be when you were young: A lawyer.

What was your first job: School district office assistant.

Pet peeve: When people are not doing their part to help improve society.

If you could change careers, what would you be doing: I would not change jobs.

Favorite place in the world: The Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.

What were your life’s biggest moments: Meeting my husband and adopting my son.

How do you spend your free time: For the last month, caring for my new son, Christian.

Favorite book: The Bible.

Historical event you wish you had witnessed: The birth of Jesus.

Favorite TV show: The Weather Channel.
