Meet...Rodney

Name: Rodney Greene.

Department: Hollings Cancer Center.

How long have you worked at MUSC: October marked two years.

What was your first job: MUSC Call Center.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job: The patients. They inspire me.

Who do you find most outstanding at MUSC: The entire MUSC family. We stick together through tough and good times.

If you could change careers, what would you be doing: I would either be an oncologist or a researcher finding ways to cure cancer.

Do you have any pets: A gold severum (fish) named Hamboy.

Favorite way to unwind after a long day: Relaxing at home, reading a book or working out.

How do you stay fit: I used to play football, but now I weight train.

Biggest challenge: Staying financially fit.

Favorite place in the world: Southern California.

Words of advice: Stay positive.

Something you do that is silly but really fun: Make hand gestures while I’m in the car, like waving to children in the backs of other cars, or while I’m listening to music.
