Name: Barbara W. Smalls.

Department: Help Desk—Engineering and Facility.

How long at MUSC: More than 22 years.

First job: Gift wrapper at Adams and Ortmann Jewelry.

Bad habit: Biting my nails.

Meal you love to cook: Cabbage carrot rice.

Role model: My friend and spiritual advisor, Altone Shine.

Most embarrassing moment: Falling in the parking lot while going to the Rutledge Tower cafeteria.

What do you do on a rainy day: Sleep.

How would you spend a million dollars: Give to my church, pay off all my expenses, help my family and friends, and contribute to charities and organizations.

Favorite radio station: Heaven 1390.

Idea of a dream vacation: Going on a cruise with my family and friends around the world.

Greatest moment in your life: Accepting Jesus Christ as my personal savior.

Words of advice: Remember to always put God first in your life, no matter what you do.
