Meet...Linnea

Name: Linnea Freeman.

Department: Neurosciences.

Years at MUSC: This is my fourth year in the Ph.D. program.

Favorite TV show: Top Chef.

Best play list on your iPod: I still listen to a playlist I made for the Bridge Run two years ago whenever I go running—it is very upbeat and motivating.

First job: I worked at a deli that was within walking distance from home, and I kept that job for five years (until I went away for college).

Bad habit: Worrying and thinking too much.

Meal you love to cook: I like to make dishes with lots of vegetables—either stir fry or stew.

Role model: My mom.

What do you do on a rainy day: Curl up and watch movies—it’s so nice to relax.

The best thing about living in Charleston: The beaches, warm weather, friendly people and great food (not just one thing!).

Favorite radio station: I never thought I would like country, but now that is all I listen to—my favorite station is WEZL.

Dream vacation: Anywhere by the water with no cell phone and no e-mails.
