Patients can view statements online

 
Patients may view their University Medical Associates (UMA) and/or Carolina Family Care (CFC) statements online by visiting and registering with http://musc.bhawk.com. Patients also may access via MUSC’s new Web site, click on Patients & Care Providers, then Billing and then “Pay our UMA bills online.”
 
Patients will receive a user name confirmation e-mail immediately and a password e-mail within 48-hours of registration. Registered patients also may choose to stop receiving a monthly paper statements from UMA and/or CFC and view their statements online. Patients can make credit card or debit card payments online using the “Quick Pay” option.
 
“At UMA, we’re very excited to have rolled out to our patients the ability to receive their UMA and/or CFC billing statement online, as well as paying their bills online,” said George Seblonka, executive director of UMA Patient Accounting, Parkshore Office. “With everyone’s life being busier than ever, this makes it convenient for our patients to easily manager their medical bills online. Our Customer Service Department, lead by manager Brenda Streets, has done an excellent job in getting this implemented.”
 
Other E-Services available through the Web site are  update online changes to their personal information including address, phone number, employer info and insurance information; manage stop monthly paper statements and register for monthly e-statements; make credit and debit card online payments or e-mail UMA or CFC Customer Service with other questions concerning their patient accounts.
