Name: Keisha Brown.

Department: College of Graduate Studies.

How long have you been at MUSC: 8 years.

What was your first job: Dollar General.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job: Helping students. Just talking to the students is a joy.

If you could change careers, what would you be doing: Counseling youth.

Least favorite chore: Cleaning the bathroom.

Pet peeve: Nothing bothers me. I don’t get caught up in what others do.

Person you admire the most: My mother for her beliefs and the way she presents herself.

Favorite way to unwind: Go to a bar and enjoy my favorite cocktail, a Malibu with pineapple juice.

Idea of a perfect vacation: Hawaii, which is where I plan to go to be with my husband when he’s on R&R from Kuwait.

Something people don’t know about you: I sing alto in my church choir.

Favorite saying: It is what it is.
