Meet...Betty

Name: Betty Isom.

Department: Transportation Services.

How long have you been at MUSC: A year.

Where were your born: Right here at MUSC.

What was your first job: Working at a day care.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job: Making people smile.

Something you collect: Shot glasses from different cities, states and places.

Favorite type of music: Oldies, but goodies.

Item you must have in your refrigerator: Miller Lite.

Pet peeve: Busy bodies.

Person you admire the most: My mother. She’s steadfast.

How do you unwind: Hanging out with my girlfriends.

Idea of a perfect vacation: Sailing away for about 14 days.

If you knew you had a year to live, what would you do: I’d go to Africa; and I’ve always wanted to see Johannesburg, South Africa.
