‘You Rock’ recognizes outstanding performance

A new “You Rock” award was created by the Ambulatory Care Performance Improvement and Staff Development team.
 
The purpose of the award is to recognize outstanding performance in safety, education and process improvement. All outpatient clinic employees are eligible to participate, including business operations, administrative, clinical and support staff.
 
Each “You Rock” award winner receives a commemorative rock, a balloon, candy and a framed certificate, which includes the You Rock motto.

You Rock recipients

  • Robin Matutina—National certifi-cations in pediatric nursing and pediatric oncology nursing, and several publications in nursing journals.
  • Carolyn Cavanaugh—Chair-person for the Infection Control Task Force of the Education Resource Committee.
  • Rickey Green—Member of both the Outpatient Clinic Satisfaction and Selecting Talent Peer Interview teams.
  • Sheryl Naugle—Created and developed the Long-term Controlled Substances Therapy for Chronic Pain Patient-Doctor Agreement.

 Linda Randazzo, M.E. Canaday and Susan Hamner will be looking for You Rock stories when the team performs rounds. Nominations also can be e-mailed to Susan Hamner at hamners@musc.edu.
