Meet...Terri

Name: Terri Matson.

Department: Hollings Cancer Center.

How long at MUSC: 7 years.

Most embarrassing moment: When I got “sick” in an airplane on the way to a meeting.

Mac or PC: PC.

Favorite quote: Develop a thick skin—my dad’s advice to me growing up with three older brothers.

Favorite place in the world: Anywhere I can relax with my family.

The one thing you can’t live without: My Blackberry.

What do you do to relax when the workday ends: Find 10 minutes of quiet time and organize myself for the next day. It helps clear my head.

The most rewarding thing about your job: It's knowing that what I do makes a difference in the lives of our cancer patients.

Greatest moment in your life: Personally —my wedding day. Professionally—learning that HCC was awarded its NCI designation.

If you could relive any day of your life, what would it be: April 13, 1998. I could thank my dad and tell him  I love him just one more time.
