Name: Carla Fisher.

Department: Surgery.

How long at MUSC: 4 years.

A unique talent you have: I can dance the salsa like nobody else.

First job: I modeled in Japan.

Meal you love to cook: Vegetable lasagna.

Role model: Nestor Esnaola, M.D. He is a wise surgical oncologist.

Favorite place in the world: My parent’s beach house in Ocean City, N.J.

How would you spend a million dollars: I would pay off my student loans, give some money to charity and buy a couple pairs of new shoes.

Favorite radio station: NPR.

Since hurricane season began recently, what properties of a hurricane do you have: I can be unpredictable.

Greatest moment in your life: Starring in this column.
