Women's club accepting scholarship applications

The Medical University Women’s Club is accepting applications for the 2009 MUWC Scholarship Awards

Applications are available at http://www.musc.edu/womensclub or at the Office of Volunteer Services (first floor of the Children’s Hospital, next to the Hospital Gift Shop).

The deadline for submission of applications is 4 p.m., Friday, Aug. 21 at the Volunteer Services Office.The MUWC Scholarship Committee will review the applications and select the recipients based on financial need, academic achievement, community and university service, as well as on their personal statement and a letter of recommendation from an MUSC faculty member.

MUWC will presents these awards at its annual membership coffee Sept. 9.
