Name: Fred Farris Jr.

Department: Special Projects.

How long have you been at MUSC: 8 months.

What type of work do you do: Strip and wax floors and all special projects (such as get labs ready for new groups looking to lease them).

Favorite summer activity: Sitting around my pool with a cold beer with my wife and friends listening to Jimmy Buffett.

A talent you are proud of: Playing the guitar.

Most favorite sound to you: My Harley.

A day in your life you would like to relive: The day I got married.

Mountains or the beach: Beach.

Biggest challenge: Making sure everyone around me is happy.

Historical event you would like to witness: The first person to reach Mars.

Favorite summer fruit: Peach.

Three people who are inspiring to you: My father, mother and grandfather.

Words of advice: Always have a plan, study the plan, then act to carry out the plan. My motto for the school at MUSC is “a smart school is a clean school.”
