Improve standards, apply for grant money  If your department is in search of additional funding for a specific project, the MUSC Family Fund may be able to help you. The MUSC Family Fund provides grants to projects that positively impact the mission of the Medical University through education, patient care, and research. Each year, many of your fellow faculty and staff members designate their YES Campaign gift to the MUSC Family Fund. The designated funds are then distributed to a select group of university/hospital projects in need of additional support. Grant winners will be determined by the YES Campaign Allocation Committee in April. To apply for an MUSC Family Fund Grant, fill out the application below and send via campus mail to the following address: Office of Development YES Campaign 261 Calhoun Street MSC 182 Charleston, SC 29425 Applications are due by 5 p.m. March 31. Your grant will be denied without this summary. Describe how the request would improve your department's ability to positively impact the mission of MUSC (not to exceed one paragraph). List other sources of support and the amount to which they support program. Grants cannot be made for any requests of unallowable expenses as defined by the MUSC Foundation.
