Blood donation is critical

Today, Aug. 23,  the American Red Cross went under a statewide appeal for blood donors. There is a critical need right now for all blood types. Meeting this need is particularly challenging now since the extremely high temperatures are keeping donors inside and we are experiencing a high number of donors who are unable to keep their appointments. Please give blood as soon as you can.

Make and keep your appointment to donate today. Call 792-0219 to schedule an appointment at the MUSC Red Cross Fixed Site located in room 279, University Hospital. The site is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday.
