April is alcohol awareness month


The Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs (CDAP) will host a booth on the MUSC campus in celebration of  National Alcohol Awareness Month. Come learn about the good and the bad health effects of alcohol use, what a standard serving of alcohol looks like, how to talk with your teenagers about alcohol consumption, and how someone might benefit from participating in free and confidential research studies that are taking place at the Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs.

Booth locations
  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 7 at the Children’s Hospital lobby (Wellness Wednesday)
  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 8 (National Alcohol Screening Day) at the  Colbert Education Center & Library building and portico
  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 21 at Ashley River Tower lobby (Wellness Wednesday)
