Dear MUSC Family:
As you know, we have been on a pursuit of performance excellence for
the past three years with a clear goal in mind—to go from just good to
just great.
Without the clear focus, dedication and buy-in of every single
individual within the walls of our organization, this is an impossible
feat. What this means is that all of us must demonstrate compassion,
commitment for helping others and showing we can define the highest
standards of medical care. Clearly then, this process starts with you.
As you view our display during the month of April near Starbucks in the
university hospital, I hope you will look in the mirror and see
yourself as someone who will positively impact the lives of your fellow
employees, physicians, patients and families. We have so many
remarkable individuals who work for us, and we know that this is not
something that will happen overnight—we first must get every one of you
engaged so together, we can turn this ship and make a difference.
