Public Safety needs help catching thieves

There have been a number of moped thefts in the past month. In all cases the mopeds were not secured and the suspect(s) were able to push them out of the area. All thefts occurred between 9 and 11 a.m.

The suspect(s) pushed the mopeds north on President Street from Doughty Street toward Bee Street. Anyone having information on the suspect(s), should contact MUSC Public Safety at 792-4196 and ask to speak with the investigator.

Also, anyone witnessing an individual pushing a moped on the sidewalks around MUSC should contact Public Safety immediately at 792-4196. Public safety officers will respond immediately and determine the ownership of the moped.
