Employee annual benefits fair slated for Sept. 24

The University and Medical Center Human Resources departments will host the Annual Benefits Fair from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 24 at the portico on the MUSC Horseshoe.

The fair will kick off the 2010 Annual Enrollment period that lasts from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31.

Employees will be able to learn how the various laws included in the new health care reform will affect their benefits. Both university and medical center employees are encouraged to attend the benefits fair prior to annual enrollment to ask questions and gather information regarding their benefits.

Employees will be able to meet with representatives from organizations including the South Carolina Retirement Systems, Employee Insurance Program, BlueCross BlueShield, Blue Choice Healthcare, CIGNA, supplemental retirement companies and various insurance companies.
