Employee Wellness


MUSC Employee Fitness Series: A free Pilates class will be held at the MUSC Wellness Center from 12:15 - 12:45 p.m., Oct. 11. Participants will receive a free day pass to the Wellness Center. Email musc-empwell@musc.edu to register.

Wellness Wednesday: Join the American Lung Association in its mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease by participating in the Fight For Air Run/Walk on Oct. 29. It is a timed 5K, with an after party on Folly Beach and an awards ceremony with race, costume, and fundraising awards. Visit the table in Children's Hospital lobby from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Oct. 12 to donate or register for this event. Lunch & Learn Stress Management Series: Tips for less stress and a good night's sleep from 12:15 — 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, Room 102, Colbert Education Center & Library. To register, email musc-empwell@musc.edu.

Mobile mammograms: The Hollings Cancer Center Mobile Van will be conducting mammograms from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Oct. 19 at the Basic Science Building. Call 792-0878.

Worksite screening: The next screening will be held Oct. 20 at the Clinical Sciences Building. The screening is $15 with the State Health Plan and $42 without and includes a blood chemistry profile, blood pressure, height and weight and a written report with individualized recommendations.
