Meet Sylvia

How long at MUSC
11 years total. I left for a few years.

Most embarrassing moment
When I was 5 years old I told a lie to a television audience while on the "Happy Raine Show." I didn't realize how many people were watching that knew I didn't own a horse named Flicka Star. I got teased forever.

Summer meal you enjoy cooking
Grilled fresh fish, tomato pie, squash casserole and lima beans

Favorite restaurant
Balthazar, New York City

Ice cream or popsicles
Popsicles

A must-have in the pantry
Buster's Rub. It's the best all-around seasoning and five minute marinade.

Most rewarding thing about your job
Cultivating relationships with people who want to support CDAP's mission: to combat alcohol and drug addiction through research, education, patient care and outreach.
