Carolyn Elaine
Reed, M.D., died Nov. 16, after a short
illness. She was recruited to MUSC 1985 as
an assistant professor in the Division of
Cardiothoracic Surgery. Reed was the Alice
Ruth Reeves Folk Endowed Chair of Clinical
Oncology. She served as associate director
for clinical affairs, director of Hollings
Cancer Center, and deputy director of
clinical affairs.|
