MUSC President Ray Greenberg, M.D. Ph.D., received the March of Dimes Annual Real Estate Award Nov. 29. Greenberg was chosen by City of Charleston Mayor Joseph P. Riley Jr. for this award for his "significant impact on Real Estate and Development in Charleston through the development of the MUSC campus and for his outstanding leadership and citizenship in the Charleston area."
The Real Estate Award was established in 1998 by the South Carolina Chapter of the March of Dimes to honor a member of the real estate community who has demonstrated a long history of service. Recipients are chosen for their outstanding leadership and vision in the community.
"We are extremely pleased to recognize Dr. Greenberg with this award," said Meredith Repik, March of Dimes director. "The contributions he has made to our community and his continued involvement and leadership in Charleston make him a worthy recipient."
