Hand Hygiene on Top of Priority List


NSICUNeuroscience ICU received MUSC's platinum level award for hand hygiene with a rate of 98.35 percent. Platinum level is awarded to the unit with monthly rates of 90 percent and above and the highest quarterly average hand hygiene compliance.




TCU2JRU


TCU and 2JRU received the gold level status. 2JCU had a rate of 96.9 percent and TCU was rated at 93.15 percent. CTICU and 9East achieved 90 percent or higher hand hygiene compliance rates for the last quarter of 2011 and qualified as silver level winners.
