The South Carolina Clinical & Translational Research Institute (SCTR), with the support of MUSC Technology/Innovation Strategic Planning Implementation Committee, will host a Mobile Health Technologies scientific retreat from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 26, MUSC Bioengineering Building Auditorium, BE110. Clinicians, basic scientists, health professionals and others are invited to register by April 6.
The event keynote speaker is Wendy Nilsen, Ph.D., chair of the National Institute of Health's Mobile Health Training Institute and health scientist administrator, NIH Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research. Breakout sessions and presentations will focus on the development in mobile health research, software application adaptation and development; server platform development and management and a review of SCTR Institute Pilot Project Initiatives.
The objective of the retreat is to stimulate new, collaborative research projects among multiple disciplines and with the community that can advance pre-clinical, clinical and translational research.
