MUSC's Dr. Lee Leddy,
center, assistant professor in
orthopaedic surgery, received the
Harper Drolet Award at the second
annual Swing For A Cure Golf
Tournament on July 14. Held in
memory of Travis Branch, Swing For
A Cure raised more than $20,000
for the sarcoma research program
at MUSC's Hollings Cancer Center.
The Harper Drolet Award was
created in 2011 to honor an
individual who is making a
significant difference in the
fight against sarcoma. Supporting
the tournament are Carrie Branch,
wife of Travis, and Giles Branch,
brother of Travis. |
