Womble Carlyle marketing manager Sarah Murray, bottom row (left), presents MUSC Children's Hospital Administor John Sanders with a $1,500 check in support of Beads of Courage. The Beads of Courage Campaign helps children cope with anxieties and stress of dealing with a major illness. Through Beads of Courage, young patients receive a color-coded bead for significant milestones in their treatment. These beads are strung on a necklace that the patients can use to explain their experiences. With Sanders is Volunteer Program specialist, Emily Wallace (top row center); and PCICU guest services representative Kristen Burn; and patient, Alicia Fisher, 15. Alicia is awaiting a heart transplant and is holding the beads.
