TV Personality Mother Love to Discuss Life with Diabetes

Background: Mother Love, a published author, television and radio talk show veteran, film actress, advice columnist, motivational speaker and standup comic, will visit MUSC to tour the endocrinology department and participate in a discussion on living with diabetes.

As co-host of dLife, a television program that addresses all aspects of living with diabetes, Mother Love is well-equipped to speak on the topic. Since her diagnosis of type 2 diabetes in 1990, she has lost more than 100 pounds and improved her diabetes management through healthy lifestyle changes. Mother Love is an active member of the American Diabetes Association and speaks to audiences across America on health and motivational issues.
